What 15 Weeks of Exploring AI + Building My Teacher Brand Taught Me

Fifteen weeks ago, I started something that felt exciting, intimidating — and entirely mine.

I called it Teaching with BOT Hands — not just a clever name, but a declaration of intent. I wanted to carve out a space where I could bring together my love for maths, my curiosity about EdTech, and my passion for thoughtful, empowering teaching.

I didn’t wait for things to be perfect. I started small. I stayed consistent. And here’s what I learnt along the way:

💡 1. Clarity Comes from Action

Not everything I planned felt perfect from the beginning. But creating consistently — blog posts, AI-generated freebies, classroom resources — helped me find my voice. It’s not about being the loudest; it’s about being authentic and useful.

🤖 2. AI Is a Teaching Assistant, Not a Replacement

Across these weeks, I used AI to:

But it never replaced my role. It supported me in showing up more fully for my students — as a calmer, clearer teacher.

💬 3. Teachers Need Space to Be Creators

We are more than deliverers of curriculum. We are designers, thinkers, mentors, and innovators. This project reminded me that sharing my ideas isn’t “extra” — it’s powerful, meaningful work.

Creating content, lessons, and reflections didn’t drain me. It recharged me.
